The Salt Lake City (SLC) Utah facility handles designing and developing training and simulation solutions for Government and Commercial Systems applications. The SLC location is looking to add a Senior Analyst Facilities & EHS provides Facility Management oversight, leadership of facility projects/buildouts, Environmental Health and Safety in conjunction with corporate guidelines, site crisis management plans, assists with site functions.

This is an ONSITE position in our Salt Lake City, Utah facility.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall site facilities planning, the ability to work independently and with initiative

  • Manage facilities budget

  • Coordinate inputs from building stakeholders (e.g. Engineering, Operations, Value Stream Leaders) for short- and longer-term facilities planning and budgeting

  • Maintain facility layouts, modifications and updates, coordinates updates as required through the corporate tools to maintain accurate mapping

  • Coordinates with corporate and other company sites with near-term and long-term space planning efforts.

  • Understands corporate facility standards. Generate and carry-out a multi-year plan to incorporate standards. Generate and carry-out a multi-year plan capital plan.

  • Manages subcontractors related to building services (cleaning services, electrical, HVAC, security, landscape, etc.)

  • Performs minor building maintenance tasks.

  • Site focal point for Environmental, Health & Safety plans and activities

  • Lead, implement, and cadence local and corporate requirements

  • Work with the corporate Environmental, Health & Safety group on facility complaints, incidents or accidents

  • Perform recurrent inspections

  • Use EHS tools to track and complete tasks (EHS Smart)

  • Site focal for local coordination with Research Park master planning initiatives

  • Supports site level PPE and crisis management team facility needs (eg. face coverings, cleaning supplies, etc.)

  • Implement and monitor site business continuity and recovery plans

  • Key member of the Emergency Response Team

  • Leads the building evacuation efforts

  • Leads the facility recovery plan

  • Site focal point for REACH related tasks as flowed from corporate office

  • Maintains facility compliance to ISO requirements

  • Keeps abreast of new technologies through research, professional organizations and networks and acts as resource for co-workers

  • With assistance from corporate facilities organization:

  • Oversee the design of facility lay-outs and systems; including electrical, HVAC, and/or mechanical, for moderate-to-large projects or components of a very large project

  • Determine specifications for materials and work with Procurement group on material orders

  • Develop instructions for moderately complex installations

  • Work with local, state, and federal planning & zoning, traffic engineering, and environmental agencies to determine facility impact

  • Work with outside architectural, mechanical design, and civil engineering firms and with traffic, structural, environmental and modeling consultants

    Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

  • Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Able to work independently

  • Able to plan, lead, and cadence projects to completion.

  • Communicate effectively with team assisting with projects and with leadership

  • Skilled in communication and capable of leveraging and collaborating in software planning tools such as Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, Calendar)

  • Skilled in using other EHS tools as implemented by corporate office (EHS Smart, etc.)

  • Experience in manufacturing and aerospace

  • Experience in facilities management

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
