Here at The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, we have a terrific leadership opportunity to lead our Facilities Management and Environmental Health and Safety functions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide strategic direction and oversight for all the facilities within the 12th District (five buildings and one leasing arrangement). This includes facilities operations, projects, and oversight of other facility-related efforts across the Bank.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Lead Facility Management’s functions, including Construction and Space Planning, Building Operations, Tenant relations, Leasing arrangements, and EHS ensuring alignment with Bank strategy and objectives

  • Serve as a strategic partner and advisor to senior executive team on long-term space utilization and capital planning to support the Bank’s operations and objectives.

  • Establish a strategic roadmap and multi-year planning forecasts to include identification of all capital and investments for infrastructure, Bank initiatives, customer needs, and staffing.

  • Proactively engage with business lines to anticipate infrastructure, space, and capital needs.

  • Oversee and support the Environmental Health & Safety Program with a focus on improving the overall facilities environment for employees.

  • Lead the Group’s financial management function including budgeting, procurement, billing, contracts, and asset management ensuring alignment with local and System budget objectives.

  • Build and sustain productive and collaborative relationships with customers, Bank and System colleagues, the Board of Governors, and other regulatory agencies.

  • Participate and contribute to the System Corporate Real Estate and Subcommittee on Administrative Services workgroup initiatives in areas of responsibility aligning with Facilities Management strategic objectives.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Typically requires 15+ years of facilities and construction management experience

  • Typically requires 12+ years of progressive people and business leadership experience

  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Intellectually curious, agile, and innovative with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organization.

  • Specifically possesses strong executive presence and the ability to effectively navigate the complex leadership dynamics of both their respective Reserve Bank and System as a whole.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong track record of collaborating with business partners.

Base Salary Range : Min: 237,800.00 - Mid 314,600.00 - Max 384,200.00 USD Annual Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
