Sutter Health OR Inventory Coordinator in Santa Cruz, California

Position Overview:

Under minimal supervision and with considerable opportunity to exercise initiative and make independent decisions this position maintains the supplies of the Surgery Department. This position supports all activities relating to the storage and movement of materials, equipment and supplies in and out of the surgery department, par/exchange areas with established priorities and schedules.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. At least 3 years of experience in an acute care hospital working in the materials management environment. Lawson experience required. Must demonstrate working knowledge of basic software applications; must be familiar with requisitioning, ordering, distribution and inventory procedures. Demonstrated understanding of concepts of good customer relations and customer service. Must be able to work weekends, holidays and in varied shifts.
