Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Surgical Technician II is responsible for supporting Registered Nurses and Surgeons in the Operating Room. They handle sterile instruments during surgical procedures. They monitor their sterile field and are responsible for the care and maintenance of surgical instruments supplies and equipment. Working as part of the OR team is essential. Responsible for picking cases and room turn-over after procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Current Certified Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required.

  • Current AHA BLS certification required.

Preferred:

  • Two (2) years ORT experience preferred.

  • Graduate from an approved program for OR Technicians or equivalent preferred.

  • Current Certified OR Technician or equivalent CT ORG preferred.

Pay Range

$49.54 - $55.75 /hour
