Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) Nurse Manager

CTTX Health is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Manager to lead our Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) department. As the Nurse Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) department, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing mentoring, coaching, and support.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize patient outcomes.

  • Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care.

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in medical-surgical nursing and healthcare management.
