This position is part of a dynamic Enterprise Talent Development (ETD) Team responsible for building skills, cultivating careers and developing leaders with Minnesota’s government employees. The digital learning and development consultant will provide expertise, consultation, development and support on virtual/digital training development to ensure our eLearning and hybrid learning offerings are relevant, functional and of high quality. The individual will be an in-house expert on end-to-end learning course design, development, implementation and support. This role will also coach and provide process improvement recommendations and support to leadership, staff, and the enterprise.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience with on-line training, web-based applications and training development

AND

  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools and technologies

  • Project management skills sufficient to conceptualize, develop, organize, implement and evaluate training projects.

  • Proficient in the development, design and delivery of learning solutions.

  • Considerable knowledge of theories and practices of adult learning and development.

  • Ability to determine appropriate training methodology for various learning needs.

  • Effective organization skills, recognized ability to manage details and multi-task with competing priorities.

  • Demonstrated skills with training, presentation and/or group facilitation.

  • Speaking and writing skills sufficient to deliver training information to various audiences.

  • Ability to work with diverse clientele.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Adult Learning, Organization Development, Human Resources, Training and Development or related field

  • Experience creating accessible learning

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems
