Join Westrock as a Health & Safety Specialist!

We are expanding our H&S function at WestRock and seeking a new Health & Safety Specialist to join our production team in Tczew. This is your chance to collaborate closely with an experienced Regional HSE Lead and develop expertise in HSE regulations within a manufacturing environment.

How will you impact Westrock?

• Execute tasks based on occupational health and safety regulations

• Initiate and implement solutions to improve the workplace safety culture

• Review and develop health and safety documentation resulting in compliance with legislation and internal company needs

• Conduct occupational health and safety training (initial), coordinate periodic training and develop training materials and documentation

• Participate and consult projects related to occupational health and safety and environmental protection

• Cooperate with external institutions and supervisory authorities with regard to health and safety requirements

What do you need to be successful?

• University degree in occupational health and safety or post-graduate studies in the same field

• Fluent English - min. B2 level

• Preferably, 1-2 years of experience in occupational health and safety in the manufacturing environment

• Practical understanding of health and safety regulations

• Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001- nice-to-have

• Ability to work independently and organise your own work

• Proactive mindset and high energy level

• Qualifications of a Fire Protection Inspector - nice-to-have
