Red Hat Senior Technical Instructor in India

Job Summary

Red Hat Learning is looking for a Senior Technical Training Instructor having experience delivering technical training classes for Red Hat associates. In this role, you'll deliver training to global audiences on Red Hat’s open source platforms and technology, providing instruction for groups of technically skilled individuals. You will conduct this training in an instructor-led or virtual classroom. You will also collaborate with the Curriculum Team to ensure that the course material is accurate and instructionally sound. Job Responsibilities

  • Delivers Red Hat Training curriculum and exams in a physical and virtual classroom setting.

  • Works with Red Hat content creation teams to improve and enhance the associate’s learning experience

  • Develops real-world examples and hands-on lab exercises to supplement Red Hat Training content (where applicable)

  • Solid level of knowledge with Red Hat products and can solve technical problems independently

  • Coordinates with Training Manager and Team Lead on planning and execution of training delivery for each fiscal year

  • Project collaboration with all informed members including those on the training team as well as those outside the team.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of open source industry experience

  • Experience delivering technical training in a classroom and virtual setting

  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or ability to pursue certification

  • Extensive background in Linux or UNIX system administration and deployment

  • Extensive knowledge of Red Hat's portfolio of offerings and open source software

  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies

  • Troubleshooting and issue reporting

  • Strong presentation and classroom management skills

  • Fluent English language skills with solid writing, presentation, and communication skills
