BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Digital Experience Manager - Mobile Apps in United States

This position is responsible for driving the development and success of our digital products, from ideation to launch and beyond. This position will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities, define product strategy, and oversee the execution of product roadmaps. You will also be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, collaborating with Engineering and other departments to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

  • Leading agile teams in the ongoing management and advancement or digital products, channels, and programs
  • Developing innovative, industry-leading solutions that uniquely serve BlueCross and its customers
  • Leading digital initiatives and cross-functional teams by driving strategy, tactics, and delivery timelines
  • Identifying, researching and scoping key business opportunities in support of the future-state vision for digital solutions across products, programs, and campaigns
  • Building strong partnerships across teams in delivering excellent service
  • Working with key stakeholders throughout the organization to establish priorities, gain buy-in, and align resources appropriately

Job Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment

Experience

  • 6 years - Experience managing consumer tools/technology, or equivalent experience required.
  • 3 years - Experience in a leadership/management role required
  • 1 year - Project management, account management or similar experience required

Skills\Certifications

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles and accountability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Job Specific Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in agile methodologies and product management tools.
  • Knowledge of user experience design principles and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with mobile app development technologies and platforms.
  • Understanding of current mobile applications, devices, and trends.
  • Experience with app development

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Developing the mobile experience that always puts customers first.
  • Identifying and actualizing new features for mobile products.
  • Managing the prioritization of features within a crowded roadmap.
  • Overseeing relationships with software development vendors and technology partners.
  • Translating feature ideas into actionable product requirements for developers.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in communications, technology, design, sales, and research on the execution of new features.
  • Gathering and documenting product requirements, prioritizing features, building consensus, and coordinating timelines with a team of engineers and designers.
