Essential Functions: Greets patients with a warm and inviting demeanor. Accompany physician during office visits and minor procedures Transcribe medical notes Learn and become efficient with the use of our EHR (Electronic Health Records) system Learn to and become efficient in ordering labs, imaging, medications, follow-ups Answer phone and direct to appropriate person or take care of call if appropriate. Collaborate with providers and other staff as appropriate. Assist in managing the fax inbox. Performs similar and incidental duties as assigned.

Experience: Associates Degree or higher preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Education in healthcare or sciences is a plus. Knowledge of medical office operations Understanding of an EMR (electronic medical records system) preferably eClinicalWorks
