UCLA Health Inpatient Pharmacist (Part Time) - West Valley Medical Center in West Hills, California

In this

key role, you will be responsible for preparing and dispensing many types of

pharmaceuticals to fulfill orders in the inpatient pharmacies. You will

collaborate closely with other members of the health care team to help prevent

inappropriate or misuse of medications. Adhering to departmental policies and

procedures, you will deliver a wide range of clinical services (e.g.,

pharmacokinetic dosing, therapeutic interchange, IV/PO conversions, TPN per

pharmacy, pharmacist interventions).

Schedule:

Varied shifts, depending on department needs, including weekends and holidays

Hourly

Salary Range: $83.37 - $97.65 (Union represented, step based salary depending

on years of experience)

Bargaining

Unit: HX-UPTE

Qualifications

We're

seeking a dedicated clinical professional with:

Pharm D.

degree and current CA Pharmacy license (required).

ASHP-accredited

residency (preferred).

2 years

inpatient pharmacy experience (highly preferred).

Exceptional

communication, interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills.

Knowledge

of and ability to perform age specific and disease specific pharmacokinetic

calculations.

Ability to

compound intravenous admixtures and other sterile products.
